Iryna Radchenko is Head of Scientific Department at the „Tkuma” Ukrainian Institute for
Holocaust Studies and Museum „Jewish History and Holocaust in Ukraine”,Dnipro, Ukraine.

Iryna Radchenko is Head of Scientific Department at the „Tkuma” Ukrainian Institute for Holocaust Studies and Museum „Jewish History and Holocaust in Ukraine”, Dnipro, Ukraine. She is a PhD candidate in World History at Oles Honchar Dnipro National University. Her thesis is devoted to the phenomenon of humanitarian organizations on rescue of Jews in Europe during the Holocaust, primarily in Poland, France, Hungary and Romania.

Iryna took part in a lot of workshops and conferences dedicated to Holocaust studies, especially: “Holocaust in Soviet Union” workshop (organized by USHMM, Washington, 2016); EHRI Fellowship Programme 2017 in France and Romania.

Iryna Radchenko is an editor in a series of books published at “Tkuma” Institute, such as “Holocaust in Ukraine” (Authors: A. Kruglov, A. Umanskiy, I. Shchupak; 2017–2018) in 2 volumes, in Russian; “Tell Ye Your Children…” (Authors: P. A. Levine, S. Bruchfeld; 2018), in Ukrainian. Her general scholarly focus are rescue of Jews during the Holocaust, international organizations and their role in rescue of the Jews during the World War II, American Jewry and its reaction to the Holocaust in Europe. Also Ms. Radchenko took part in creation and substantive updating of some exhibitions in Museum “Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine”, particularly “Establishment of the State of Israel”, “Tragedies of the ХХ th century” and “Jewish national districts in USSR and activities of the Agro-JDC in 1920–1930s”.
